WCS Athletics
Westminster Christian School provides its fifth grade through senior students with the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular, interscholastic sports. The primary objective of the interscholastic sports program is to glorify God through the use of His gifts. In addition to developing players' athletic talents in a Christian environment, coaches work to instill respect and sportsmanship consistent with Biblical values.
Westminster Christian High School is a member of the Illinois High School Association (IHSA) as well as the Northeastern Athletic Conference (NAC). The middle school is a member of the Mid Northern Conference and the elementary school program is a member of the Fox Valley Lutheran Athletic Conference. Our student athletes are continually singled out by the local media for outstanding athletic achievement through recognition on All-Area Teams. Many have received All-Conference recognition, as well. Some, who have demonstrated significant ability through athletic participation have been recruited and awarded scholarships to attend a variety of colleges and universities.
