Academic Support, Benchmarking, and Multisensory Instruction

meeting students where they are

Resource Services are an integral part of the Westminster community, providing academic support, benchmarking, and varied multisensory instruction for all learners. Our comprehensive Resource Program supports students throughout their educational journey (grades K-12) helping them to excel academically while discovering and developing their unique giftings from God.

The Resource team offers multiple programs to meet the needs and abilities of diverse learners allowing students to thrive and grow regardless of their learning style. Resource partners with classroom teachers and parents to identify student needs by offering benchmarking, monitoring, and early intervention. Ultimately, Westminster’s resource team works to provide students with the tools, strategies, and support they need to be successful and confident learners both inside and outside of the classroom.

We have three main services:

Tiered Programming services

Working with each student, we partner with parents and teachers to provide the best level of intervention.

Homework Center

Before school or after school homework centers are implemented as needed per request and staff availability.

Enrichment

Depending on need and interest levels, the Resource Department partners with classroom teachers to offer enrichment during the school day, before and/or after school.
